How selling your device works

At LaptopTraderExpress.com, we make selling your used electronics fast, simple, and worry-free. This agreement explains the process step by step so you always know what to expect.

1. How to Send Us Your Device

  • Free Shipping (Continental USA): Customers in the lower 48 states receive a prepaid UPS shipping label at no cost.
  • Alaska & Hawaii: Free labels are not available. You may ship using your own carrier at your expense.
  • Canada: Ship at your own cost β€” we reimburse $25 for one device or $35 for two or more devices.
  • Local Drop-Off (Reno, NV): You may drop off your device in person at 5460 Louie Ln, Reno, NV 89511 during business hours (Mon–Fri 9AM–4PM). No shipping needed.

2. What Devices We Buy

We accept a wide variety of electronics in any condition β€” working, broken, cracked, water damaged, even devices that won't turn on:

  • Laptops (all brands β€” Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, MSI, etc.)
  • MacBooks (MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, all generations)
  • iPhones and Android smartphones
  • iPads and tablets
  • Desktops, iMacs, and Mac Minis
  • Gaming laptops and gaming desktops
  • All-in-One computers
  • Drones and other electronics (ask us)

3. Device Evaluation Process

  • Verification: We confirm your device model, configuration, and details match what you submitted.
  • Condition Check: We inspect cosmetic condition, functionality, and completeness.
  • Adjustments: If our findings differ from your description, we contact you with a revised offer before proceeding. You can accept the new offer or request your device back at no cost.
  • 14-Day Price Lock: Your original quoted price is guaranteed for 14 days from the date of your quote.

4. Payment Process

  • Same Day Payment: Devices delivered before 10 AM and accurately described receive same business day payment.
  • Payment Methods: PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, Apple Pay, check, or other available options.
  • Revised Offers: If we adjust the price and you are not satisfied, we return your device at no cost.
  • We are not responsible for fees imposed by third-party payment processors (PayPal fees, bank fees, etc.).

5. Important Notes

  • Remove all accounts (iCloud, Google, Microsoft, Samsung) before sending your device. We cannot process payment until all accounts are removed.
  • Back up your data. We are not responsible for any data remaining on your device.
  • Once you accept an offer and payment is made, the sale is final and the device becomes the property of LaptopMate LLC.
